Changes: I started taking the foundation of 3 tablespoons per day about a month before the race. you may think i'm exaggerating but I never got tired, my feet were sore due to being on them for about 12 hours straight. but energy was never a problem, during the race I took one tablespoon at 3 different times, I had them in my pocket in a sealed bag which I just injested during the run.

I took no pre packaged energy gu's or electrolyte drinks that 99% of runners consume. I drank water, udo's oil, and some homemade power bars. I took nothing that most runners think you need to have. Probably the greatest benefit was the mental clarity I experienced, in the past running these long runs I would feel mentally clouded for days after the run. but my recovery was the best i've ever had and I never had any 'runners hangover'. I know udo's oil played a key part in my recovery and performance.

During training for the race I also noticed that I was able to perform and complete runs when my heart rate was much higher than it had ever been. in the past I had never been able to perform with my heartrate over 189 beats per minutes. During one training session my heartrate was over 190 for 30 minutes and topped out at 194. The important thing for me was being able to run comfortably at that high of a heart rate, I know I wouldn't have been able to do that in the past.

I'd like to wear a shirt or a visor in future races advertising your product, these runners don't know what they're missing.    Most runners are on high carb, low fat diets. I know how they feel, I was there for years not getting enought fats and oils. but i'm hooked now. I simply didn't know until I heard Ori Hofmelker rave about your oil and the body's fuel storage capabilities.
