Better Nutrition Magazine,in their 2008 Awards issue, chose 72 nutritional products in over 30 categories as the best of the competition in terms of popularity with consumers and product quality.  Udo's 3-6-9 Oild Blend was one of 3 winners picked in the category of Essential Fatty Acids.

2005 - CHFA Hall Of Fame Award - Toronto, Canada

On Saturday, Oct 15, 2005, Udo Erasmus was given the honor of being inducted into the Canadian Health Food Association's Hall Of Fame.

This prestigious award was given in recognition of Udo's contribution to the fields of health and nutrition over the past two decades and to his persistant efforts in educating the public and industry about the importance of Essential Fatty Acids.

Following is an excerpt of the invitation to the awards ceremony which took place in Toronto, Ontario:

Dear Udo:

On behalf of the CHFA Board of Directors, and its Nominating Committee, I am delighted to advise you that you have been selected for the very special honour of being inducted into the CHFA's Hall Of Fame during the CHFA People of Excellence Awards reception and ceremony on Saturday, October 15th, 2005, at the Expo East in Toronto.

As the Canadian Health Food Association's most prestigious award, the Hall of Fame Award is presented to members of the Canadian natural health products industry for their outstanding leadership and lifetime contributions to the development and growth of our industry. Some of the other factors that also go into the selection of recipients for this award include:

  • Impressive achievement over a lifetime
  • Peer recognition as a pioneer of our industry
