The e-book is available in PDF (Portable Document Format),
which
is viewed using Adobe’s free downloadable software Acrobat
Reader (www.adobe.com).

price is USD $49.95 for the e-book and $49.95
(plus $8.95 shipping and handling) for the softcover book. When you purchase either the softcover or e-book version of The Encyclopia, you also receive a lifetime membership and a password to our private Member's Area where you can access important, updated medical information month after month, year after year at no additional cost. This feature alone is worth hundreds of dollars.
The
entire e-book can be searched using key words. For example,
if you are interested in locating material on asthma, you would
simply type in the word “asthma,” press the “Enter” key
and voila, every time the word “asthma” occurs in the text of
the document, it would be located by pressing the “Enter” key.
The ability to search the entire document electronically is a significant
advantage for some. This is one of the reasons we offer the e-book format. However,
under most circumstances, we believe most people would find the softcover
book the more useful of the two formats.
